Irish Language in Mid Ulster

Irish language Officers from Dungannon and Cookstown District Council, Cairde Uí Néill (Clonoe) and Cairde Teo (Armagh) have organised a trip to Gweedore in Donegal Gaeltacht for the community to give people a flavour of the Gaeltacht.  The trip is organised for Saturday 25 June and involves an over night stay in Bunbeg.  A tour of Ráidió na Gaeltachta (Irish language Radio Station) is first on the agenda, followed by the Cabaret Craiceáilte experience on Saturday night which entails an array of live music sessions hosted by Rónán Mac Aodh Bhuí – all musicians welcome! Sunday offers a guided walk with SIÚIL (Mid-Ulster’s Irish Speaking Walking Club) in the Mount Errigal district in the heart of An Ghaeltacht before departing on Sunday evening.  Cost £30 – Book Now!
