County Tyrone Gaelic Classes Event


GAELTACHT THÍR EOGHAIN, IRISH LANGUAGE COURSE IN POMEROY


Le theacht an tsamhraidh, tá cúrsa Gaeilge ag teacht go Cabhán an Chaorthainn, Tír Eoghain.  Seo an dara bhliain le haghaidh Gaeltacht Thír Eoghain agus is é atá i gceist ná cúrsa seachtaine do dhaoine fásta nach féidir dul chun na Gaeltachta.  Tá trí leibhéal i gceist – bun, meán agus ard.

Beidh ranganna maidine ann ó 9.30 – 12.30 agus ansin imeachtaí tráthnóna ó 1.30 – 3.30in (cosúil le ceol/scéalaíocht ón chláirseoir Nodlaig Brolly, siúlóid nadúir sa choill, turas staire na háite). Beidh cúpla oíche airneáil ann ar an chéadaoin agus ar an oíche dheireanach – de haoine.
Beidh an cúrsa ar siúl ó 4ú Iúil – 8ú Iúil 9.30-3.30 agus cosnaíonn sé £45 don tseachtain – sin sos agus lón san áireamh.

I hope you are all keeping well.  I want to inform you of a couple of events which are coming up for Gaeilgeoirí.  Gaeltacht Thír Eoghain – the second annual Irish language course for adults who cannot get to the Gaeltacht is on its way to Pomeroy.  There are three levels provided for beginner / intermediate and advanced.

 
Teachers are as follows:
Beginner              Séamus Mac Giolla Phádraig
Intermediate      Gearóid Mac Domhnaill
Advanced            Cathal Ó Donnghaile

 
There are morning classes from 9.30 – 12.30 followed by afternoon activities from 1.30-3.30pm (such as music & storytelling with harpist Nodlaig Brolly, a nature walk in the local forest, local historian bus tour).  There will be two social nights – on Wednesday and on Friday.
The course will take place from Mon 4th July – Fri 8th July and the cost is £45 for the week – break and lunch included.
